Project Pause(ish)
After some deliberation, I think I am going to put the Aurora TVC Hopper project on pause for the time being... Probably not even a full pause! Life has been very busy the last few months, and I haven't been able to really dedicate any time to the project. I've also been a little bogged down with code integration - doesn't quite scratch my engineering itch as much as everything else does. Additionally, I have been getting an itch to learn a little more about aircraft configuration. So I think I may go on a little detour for a month or two - learn more about config, modeling, and simulation for fixed wing aircraft, then come back to this project with fresh eyes! While I'm at it, I'll probably still do some work on Aurora as well.
At the moment, I have mainly finished the structure, and I just need to work on integrating code. All sensors and motors (other than the props) have been set up individually, I just need to combine everything now into one main script! I also need to develop the ground software... Follow along here for more project updates to both Aurora and the new vehicle I'll begin working on!
And for the record, Aurora WILL fly. I am not abandoning it, just need a refresh. This is all just for fun after all!
